For the first time I could see the Central Asian sheep-dog in 1969, in Kazakhstan, in area Taldy-Kurgan. After the graduation of training in helicopter school I served in those territories. Once, under the instruction of the commander, we have departed to shepherds - to buy a pair of rams at date of a birth of one of assistants to the commander. There I for the first time have seen large, strong, spiteful dogs who protected sheeps and family of the shepherd.

But most of all to me other quality of these dogs was remembered. Near dwelling, on a wadded blanket, the small child of months 8-10 sat. Near to the child "child-minder" - a large, white - red dog sat. When the child tried to creep away from a dog, she gently took him for a jacket and wore out on a blanket, licking as the puppy. The shepherd told, that he, and the wife are not afraid to leave the child with a dog, they are confident, that she not worse native mother can protect the kid. Later, already in Kiev, from one of familiar, I have heard such story. Once, when his wife made a dinner on kitchen, 4 years daughter played them in a court yard. The dog - the favourite of all family and especially younger daughter - AZIZA, during that moment fed the puppies. Leaving with a court yard, someone has overlooked to latch a gate, and it has opened a wind. At once behind a fence there was a highway. The child involved with noise of the machine, was directed to an open gate. Having seen it, the dog has stopped to feed the puppies, has run to a gate and has blocked to the child a way. She barked until has drawn attention of his mother. It is possible to result many other examples of high intelligence and mind of representatives of this most ancient breed.

In 80th years the destiny has deserted me to Afghanistan where I repeatedly saw these huge dogs, but already in the other quality. On the days off (at Moslems it is Friday), on a huge dusty field near Kabul, the dog fights were carried out. There the numerous crowds of people which has arrived not only from Kabul, but also from other provinces of Afghanistan gathered. People reached to a place of competitions by machines, buses, donkeys, camels, horses, and who and on an armored troop-carrier. It is the true national holiday for Afghans - amateurs of dogs. Judges defined winners. The winner was awarded with the ram. Afghans, as well as all east people, very impulsive and hot. They argue much, shout, gesticulate, very much experience for the favourites. Sometimes disputes pass in small fights. But all of them respect judges and very much love the dogs!

I could see, how the elderly small Afghan - peasant gave last piece of a flat cake to the favourite - to the huge dog who has gained the nextfight.

Nobleness of these dogs amazingly! In fight if the opponent shows the weakness, aziat dog never, do not finish the contender. Therefore I never saw on fights of fatal cases. Even plentiful bleedings at dogs - the big rarity.

Talking with Afghans, we heard many stories about dogs who perfectly protect dwelling both from animals, and from people. In Afghanistan I could hear frequently from owners of dogs which protect herds of sheeps, about their victories over wolves. Some from dogs, under stories of eyewitnesses, had on the to the account tens strangled wolves.

The Central Asian sheep-dog is a dog who deserves both respect, and admiration. Therefore, when at me the desire and an opportunity seriously has appeared to engage in dogs, the alternative was not - only the Central Asian sheep-dog.

The first the puppy the SHER-KHAN got in kennel "Golden Gate" has appeared in the house. He gave to all our family huge pleasure. When he has grown up and has passed a rate of training became the fine watchman and the security guard, continuing to remain the favourite of family. Unfortunately, at five years' age he has died. SHER-KHAN was not an show dog, but with fine mentality, fearless, with excellent working qualities.

That it is better to find out breed and to pick up dogs for the my kennel, I have addressed for the help to people which have given dogs many years of the life and stood at sources of cultivation of the Central Asian sheep-dogin Ukraine. I have gone to Kirovograd - the center of cultivation of Central Asian sheep-dog, to Nikolay Paliju. This person can tell hours about dogs, about directions of cultivation of breed. He is named frequently "an alive computer", keeping in the head of hundred nicknames, surnames of factory owners, with results of exhibitions and destinies of dogs. Due to him, I have got acquainted with known breeders: Oleg Melnichenko, Konstantin Andrushko, Igor Sharov, etc.

From Kirovograd and Krivoi Rog I have brought some perspective dogs and puppies - NIKA IZ DOMA SHAROVYH, AYSHA, BACHA and NIZA - on line Mosad - Kara-Kele (father Kara-Kele), ROTTI'S ALLIANCE CALIPH - son of LYUTER SAKSONIYA which became a basis of kennel "KONCHA-ZASPA".

Continuing to get acquainted with dogs of Ukraine, I have travelled all areas. In Zhitomir has got acquainted with Bogdan Patynskiy and Andrey Filatov - enthusiasts - breeders of dogs Turkmen bloods (kennel "TURKMEN WOLFHOUND" - "TURKMENSKIY VOLKODAV"). From this kennel the puppy on nickname OHLAMON - the grandson of known Turkmen champion PILEN has been got.

In Crimea me have acquainted with the fine expert, the biologist by education, the expert of a national category - Anna Bushnjak who was repeatedly being in expedition in Turkmeniya. At her I have got known from us and abroad a dog on a nickname CHAN TSARANDOY ALU - the Champion of Europe of 2000, the Champion of Poland and Ukraine and some puppies who subsequently have grown in winners and prize-winners of national and foreign exhibitions: SHAHINYA, ARSLAN, MARGO.

A lot of useful I have gathered from dialogue with Igor Malajdahom and his wife Olga Goncharuk, the Valery Bereza, Vadim Katsnelsonom, Sergey Slukinym, Valery Vysotsky, etc.

Five years as I am engaged of Central Asian sheep-dog and more and more and I am more penetrated by respect and love for this breed numbering more than a 5-thousand-year history.

For this time we a lot of new have have found out about this breed. Dogs of kennel grew together with us. Many of them became winners of national and international dogshow, as in Ukraine, and abroad.

The kennel "KONCHA-ZASPA", by results of dogshow activity of 2003, has taken the fourth place among kennels of all breeds of Ukrainian Kennel Union. Three our dogs - CHAN TSARANDOY ALU, OHLAMON, ROTTI'S ALLIANCE CALIPH, became Champions of Ukraine, and last - the Champion of Lithuania and the Champion of Russia

ROTTI'S ALLIANCE CALIPH became the winner in an open class and the second in comparison of dogs, at the most prestigious dogshow "Asian - 2003, the Cup of the World" in Moscow, at refereeing the expert of the highest class - Polivanov. This achievement for me is much more, than the third places on "Eurodogshow-2003 and 2004".

The biggest pleasure for me and my wife Tatyana who performs the big share of work in kennel, there was an occurrence of the first puppies from NIZA and SHAHINYA. To us owners of dogs from other cities of Ukraine and abroad for crossing with our dogs began to go. It testifies that our dogs like much, and it means, that we go on a correct way.

We for the first time saw, how these are born small, for the present defenceless essences. Have been struck, with what love and care mother concerns to them. Have passed months and all puppies have found the new owners. As it was hard to leave them, in fact it is so much efforts and love it has been given him. Fortunately, all puppies have fallen into in good hands, we contact to their new owners.

We have invited for teamwork in kennel "KONCHA-ZASPA" the fine expert - Anna Bushnjak. The true professional, the biologist and the expert, she{it} as anybody another, understands features of genetics. We have got acquainted with her help with Russian breeders - Lyudmila Roginskaja, kennel "TURKMEN KALA". From ALAMAT from "TURKMEN KALA" (the son of known champion Turkmenii AKELLA-3) and ours SHAHINYA the fine puppies becoming an ornament of dogshow in Kirovograd have been received.

We have planned the program of the further development of kennel, have visited a number of the Russian kennels, have adjusted with them business relations. To us offers on an exchange of males, search of worthy males, first of all abroad is conducted.

We aspire to bring up the dogs courageous and fearless. Hardly we have still kennel where puppies of Central Asia Dogs are brought up together with the one-year-old wolf...

We conduct active correspondence with foreign amateurs of this breed. It is pleasant, that the dogs received in our kennel, is in Russia, Byelorussia, Spain and even in Turkmeniya.
